MORGANTON, NC (March 7, 2021) --- Full-service internet and graphic agency VanNoppen Marketing, LLC recently acquired Table Rock Printers, a 30-year-old Morganton-based print business offering clients a wide range of internal and external print products.
The purchase of TRP follows the January 2021 unexpected death of Jack Perry, TRP owner, who died after 21 years of employment in the business. His father, Ronald Perry, started Table Rock Printers in 1986. He retired in 2018 when he sold the company to Jack.
The purchase became effective March 1, 2021.
The acquisition served several import purposes, said Allen VanNoppen, President of VanNoppen Marketing. “It is a clean, logical fit into VNM’s current processes and products,” he said. “We already provide a lot of print products and services to clients and this enables us to streamline service, improve efficiencies, maintain quality and expand our abilities to provide progressive, customer-centric marketing solutions.
“It preserves a local business that has served well for 30 years its clients, the community and civic organizations. And by maintaining that business, it protects jobs and downtown vibrancy.”
“For three decades the Perry family has been devoted to this business and its customers,” VanNoppen said. “Under Jack’s leadership, Table Rock Printers enjoyed its most successful years. I believe that 2020 was the best year in the company’s history.”
Table Rock Printers will retain its name, brand, location and staff. “We will integrate some back office operations into VNM’s existing systems, and gradually roll in some additional eCommerce service lines to enhance its service to customers. Otherwise, Table Rock Printers will continue serving its customers and the community as it has since 1986.”

Table Rock Printers was founded by Ron Perry in 1986, who, while serving in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War learned the craft. Jack Perry, Ron’s son, began working part time with Table Rock Printers while in college, became president in 2018 and operated the business until his death in 2021.
