Our client, the North Carolina School for the Deaf Foundation, has launched a national drive to create a $8 million residential community for deaf, hard-of-hearing and deaf-blind seniors.

Called the NCSD Community, the planned facility would offer affordable one- and two-bedroom condominiums for rent to seniors. Current plans detail a wide range of amenities including a Community Center, indoor and outdoor gardens, libraries and modern communication and security technologies. It would be built at the intersection of Burkemont Ave. and Fleming Dr. in Morganton, directly across from the North Carolina School for the Deaf. It is an emerging project. Consequently, the marketing apparatus we designed to promote the concept and educate its audience is flexible, scalable and adaptable thereby easily incorporating the evolving phases and audience. Take the Website, for example. While it carries a very simple design on the front end, it is built on top of the powerful Django platform with a state of the art Content Management System.

It is an extraordinarily scalable, manageable and designed to grow with the NCSD Community project. This website runs on our servers through Cherokee, the worlds fastest Web server.
